私がホテル勤めをしていた頃の話。
ある披露宴、新郎が海自の方でした。
同僚上司達は制服で出席。
披露宴も御披楽喜に近づき、
新郎のおじいさんの挨拶がありました。
自分が海軍にいた事。
孫が艦に乗っている事を誇りに思う事。
自分達の世代の不甲斐なさのせいで
今の海上勤務の方達には
苦労を掛けていると思うを
たとたどしくですが話されました。
同僚達は知らなかったらしく、
酔っ払っていたのが段々背筋が伸びていき、
神妙に聞き入っていました。
